Senior Estimator – Lumber/Wholesale Materials

USA Remote or Hybrid Option

Job Function:

This person will be responsible for full-project estimating on loose material orders on any project over $100,000.00 in sales, primarily multi-family projects. Accuracy and speed in creating complete estimates is critical to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-8 years building material estimating experience.
Experience preparing bids & reference information utilizing Planswift, Timberline, MiTek, and other design related software.
Broad knowledge of roof and floor system building materials and willingness to learn new products.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Communicate effectively (English required) with all organizational levels and customer representatives.
Minimum high school graduate. Preferred associates or bachelor degree in related discipline or equivalent.
Self-starter – ability to work well under little supervision.
Ability to manage several activities/projects at once, to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

Minimum 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift up to 101lbs at one time occasionally. Material Associates will be off forklift more than on, lifting 25-50 lbs on a regular basis. Material Handlers will be on a forklift 90% of the time with less physical lifting required.
Must detail orientated and precise and operate a forklift in tight quarters in a full yard
Operate forklifts in safe manner.
Prior forklift certification preferred.
Attention to detail and able to load materials in a cart in preparation for loader position to load onto flatbed trailers for safe transport.

2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:15 PM
