Senior Multi-Family Truss Designer – USA REMOTE

Designs wood trusses for commercial structures that mostly consists of multi-family structures (apartment complexes, assisted living facilities, hotels).

Provides the designs and estimates on all assigned jobs (layouts, cutting lists, material lists, files, etc.) according to the plan and bid specifications, quote, and shipping restrictions.
Design optimized projects utilizing MiTek and other design related software.
Demonstrates effective communication, cooperation, collaboration, and technical ability when preparing drawings for the manufacturing and assembling of various products.
Takes initiative to solve problems for internal and paying customers through efficient troubleshooting, effective plan reading, by communicating any issues and/or concerns to the appropriate people, and by documenting the solution/s.
Ensures economical and proper use of materials according to current inventory levels and material costs.
Completes all assigned jobs to meet current drafting schedule.

Class A CDL Driver: Fremont, NE

Class A CDL Driver: FREMONT, NEBRASKA

This position works Monday through Friday with no weekends required. One Overnight per week required. When you do stay overnight, we provide a nice stipend for hotel and meal expenses. Excellent pay and benefits including Employee Stock Ownership.

Essential Functions

- Drives safely and obeys all DOT regulations and rules.
- Maintains accurate DOT hours of service logs.
- Performs pre & post trip inspections.
- Conveys loads to their destination in a safe and timely manner.
- Safe operation of forklift at jobsites.
- Ensure that products delivered are damage free – notifies dispatch immediately if damaged.
- Checks off all materials on load sheets to ensure all products are delivered.
- Takes jobsite photos and forwards to dispatcher.
- Required to wear Company Personal Protective Equipment while on all job sites if required by jobsite.
